Andrew Snell


Andrew Snell:-

Andrew has been playing trombone since age 11 and, prior to coming to Australia, was a member  for 11 years of the famous Grimethorpe Colliery Band which was featured in the movie “Brassed Off”.

Andrew is a well known local identity, and has been Musical Director of some of NSW's top A grade bands before his appointment as CEO of the Wollongong Conservatorium of Music.

Andrew was both guest conductor and soloist (Bass Trombone) with The City of Wollongong Brass Band, at their concert "Versatile Brass" in the IPAC Theatre, Wollongong on the 26th May 2012.

Russel and Marika Gray


russel--marika_woRussel and Marika Gray :-

Russell has been a professional soloist for the last 15 years and is the cornet section leader in the Black Dyke Band. 
He is currently the Musical Director of the famous U.K. Fairey (Geneva) Band, and teaches at Salford University and the ENCM.

Russell was both guest conductor and soloist (Cornet) with The City of Wollongong Brass Band, at their combined concert with the Arcadian Male Voice Choir, in the Wollongong Town hall November 2011.

Amanda Williams

Amamanda_williams_woanda Williams :-

Mandy is a lyric Soprano trained under Ray McDonald from the age of 17 years. 
Mandy has toured Russia and Britain with the Sydney Staff Songsters of the Salvation Army. 
Mandy is involved in community singing


David Gallacher

img_hs-david-gallacherwoDavid McDougall Gallacher,

has been part of the Illawarra music scene for…… far too many years.

David got his start with the Arcadians Theatre group and was lucky enough to play leading roles in Camelot, Fiddler on the Roof, Annie Get Your Gun, Calamity Jane, Les Miserables and a number of other broadway shows.
